Meet Our Indigenous Tourism Guides & Coordinators

At My Backyard Tours, your experiences are guided by the people who live, love, and know this land best. We know Indigenous tourism is about more than sightseeing—it’s about connection, storytelling, and welcoming guests into the community in a respectful and meaningful way. Our team in Yellowknife, NWT brings together lived experience, creativity, humour, and heart to create unforgettable northern experiences with the tours offered.

While our broader team includes both Indigenous and non-Indigenous employees working together behind the scenes, this post highlights the Indigenous guides and coordinators who lead our guest experiences on the land.

When Stacie isn’t out on the land or corresponding with guests, she can be found writing music, playing volleyball, or taking long walks to the oven where she’s known for baking some of the best goodies around. Her balance of professionalism and authenticity sets the tone for My Backyard Tours.
